Project Description +

Sustainable, colourful, natural materials were used in line with the client’s brand values and to reflect their ethos of maintaining a happy workplace and convivial working environment.

The work was phased in order to allow the fit-out to take place with almost no interruption to the day-to-day working office. Care was taken to ensure that fitted furniture was assembled on-site quickly, using the fewest possible pieces, yet in modules small enough to be carried and manoeuvred into position by just two joiners, allowing us to work within the constraints of the historic building and busy site. We designed, built and assembled everything in our workshop, and then part dismantled the furniture to allow a fast but rehearsed, on-site build.

The time reduced on-site gave extra value to the client, offering more choice in terms of materials and scope.

Housed in the first floor of an iconic Victorian factory building in Spitalfields, Pip & Nut has made its ‘Nest’ in a lively and fashionable part of east London. We were flattered to be invited to help this vibrant young but well-known brand to make better use of their delightful, yet complex space.

Undertaken at an exciting growth phase for Pip & Nut, the brief was to move quickly in designing and constructing a range of fitted and loose office furniture and to create a new test kitchen for recipe development. This was timed to take advantage of a short window in kitchen use but needed to be ready for important end of year meetings.

We created a range of simple, yet adaptable storage units which involved designing a new type of modular shelving, creating bespoke fitted cabinets for wall storage and display as well as a new meeting room with bespoke table accompanied by a host of our pick‘n’mix stools and tables.
